FedEx expands parcel pickup and drop-off network in Poland through Żabka partnership

FedEx has significantly expanded its parcel pickup and drop-off network in Poland following a partnership with convenience store chain Żabka, adding more than 12,000 new service points across the country.

The expansion brings the total number of FedEx pickup and drop-off locations in Poland to more than 16,000, strengthening the company’s out-of-home delivery infrastructure in response to growing e-commerce demand and changing consumer expectations.

Under the agreement, customers can now send and receive parcels at Żabka stores nationwide, with locations supporting small and medium-sized shipments of up to 20 kg. Initially, the service will focus on domestic deliveries, with international shipping options planned for a later phase. The expanded network also supports returns, offering greater flexibility for customers to manage shipments at times and locations that suit their daily routines.

“Today, success in e-commerce goes beyond offering a great product—it’s about delivering a complete customer experience,” said Mariusz Mik, vice president operations, Nordics and Eastern Europe, FedEx. “Our expanded pickup and drop-off network in Poland gives consumers more choices, convenience, and control over their shipments, while enabling our partners to build scalable, customer-centric logistics solutions.”

In addition to Żabka outlets, FedEx operates more than 4,000 other pickup and drop-off points in Poland, including locations within retail chains such as Kolporter, Epaka and Furgonetka, as well as selected convenience and fuel station sites. The technical integration of Żabka into the FedEx network was managed by Pointpack S.A.

FedEx said the development forms part of its wider strategy to enhance delivery convenience for Poland’s growing base of online shoppers. Customers can manage deliveries and redirect parcels using FedEx Delivery Manager®, which provides real-time tracking and access to the full network of pickup points.

The Polish retail points network is part of FedEx’s global infrastructure, which includes more than 360,000 pickup and drop-off locations worldwide.
