Transportes Ocón Adds 15 All-Electric FUSO eCanter Trucks to Support Spain’s Postal Deliveries
Spanish logistics company Transportes Ocón has expanded its fleet with 15 fully electric FUSO eCanter trucks, marking a major step in the company’s broader sustainability strategy. The new light-duty vehicles, supplied by Daimler Truck brand FUSO, will support delivery operations for Correos, Spain’s national postal service.
The bright yellow 7C18e and 9C18e eCanter models are equipped with box bodies and tail lifts, designed for efficient urban distribution. Both the 7.49-ton and 8.55-ton variants maintain the Canter lineup’s reputation for compact dimensions and strong maneuverability. The trucks can be charged using either DC or AC systems and come with M or L battery packs, offering ranges of up to 140 km and 200 km respectively, without the need for intermediate charging.
Eduardo Alcázar, owner of Transportes Ocón, emphasizes: “Integrating 15 FUSO eCanter trucks into our fleet underscores our commitment to sustainable, competitive, and socially responsible logistics, which are the cornerstones of our vision for the future.”
Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Transportes Ocón operates a fleet of more than 1,100 vehicles and employs over a thousand drivers. The company provides a wide range of transport and logistics services, including temperature-controlled shipping, pallet distribution, and last-mile delivery. Alongside its focus on service quality and customer satisfaction, the company emphasizes transparency as well as social and environmental responsibility—commitments strengthened by its new all-electric fleet additions.
