PALFINGER has unveiled the latest addition to its FL range: the FLM 25, a middle-seat truck-mounted forklift designed with operator comfort and efficiency in mind. Now available across the EMEA region, the FLM 25 introduces an entirely new seating configuration, featuring a central, elevated driver’s seat that offers superior comfort and 360° visibility. For those looking for an environmentally friendly option, the FLM 25 is also available in a fully electric version.
The FLM 25 represents PALFINGER’s continued commitment to being a one-stop solution for truck-mounted forklifts. This new model not only boasts advanced safety and ergonomic features but also delivers exceptional performance across a range of challenging environments.
“Comfort is not just a nice-to-have, it’s essential for safe and efficient handling. With its unique middle-seat concept, the FLM 25 directly addresses a key customer need: supporting operator peace of mind while ensuring maximum safety on site”, says Gerhard Auer, Product Line Leader Special Lifting Solutions at PALFINGER.
One of the standout features of the FLM 25 is its focus on operator comfort. The elevated central seating position, set at a height of 1.44 meters, allows the driver to maintain a full 360° view of their surroundings, improving both visibility and control. The forklift is equipped with externally routed hydraulic lines, offering clear sightlines through the mast and enhancing overall safety. A spacious cabin, complete with weather protection and an intuitive layout, ensures operators can work efficiently with minimal fatigue.
Engineered for precision, the FLM 25 delivers a lifting capacity of 2,500 kg while maintaining a lightweight design under 2,000 kg. This results in a superior payload-to-weight ratio and stability, even on rough terrain, steep slopes, or narrow roads. The forklift’s 180° steering angle provides remarkable agility, making it an ideal solution for tight spaces or confined delivery routes. Additionally, telescopic forks allow for easy unloading from the second row of a truck, while the 4-way steering mode enables the handling of long loads with ease.
“Our comprehensive range of truck-mounted forklifts puts us in a very strong market position. Side-seat and middle-seat models, in both standard and 4-way versions, fully electric variants and box-mounted forklifts with remote control make us the only provider on the market to offer solutions across all categories”, says Andreas Hille, SVP Global Product Line Management and R&D at PALFINGER. “The recently introduced FL range is of great strategic value for us. Due to its modular design it meets the diverse requirements of industries such as transport and logistics, construction, infrastructure and many more. The latest addition, the FLM 25, reinforces our commitment to offer smart, comprehensive solutions for every challenge that our customers face.”
In line with PALFINGER’s dedication to providing flexible solutions, the FLM 25 comes in both diesel and fully electric versions. The electric model is especially suited for urban areas or night-time deliveries, as it operates quietly and with low emissions. With a maximum system output of 26.3 kW, the electric version also boasts a lighter dead weight, up to 10% lighter than comparable models. This makes it an ideal choice for customers seeking a sustainable solution without compromising on power or efficiency.
PALFINGER ensures the FLM 25 is easy to maintain, with accessible service points that simplify daily inspections and reduce service costs. Additionally, the FL range features the CONNECTED plus+ system, allowing fleet managers to track real-time data, including the location of each forklift and details about its charging status. This connectivity supports streamlined fleet management, ensuring high uptime and operational efficiency.
With the FLM 25 now available for order in the EMEA region, PALFINGER is already planning to expand its FLM series. At the end of 2025, the company will introduce the FLM 15, a lighter version optimized for the beverage and retail sectors.
PALFINGER’s FLM 25 is set to redefine the standards for truck-mounted forklifts, combining innovative design, robust performance, and cutting-edge digital tools in a comprehensive, all-in-one solution for businesses across multiple industries.
