 
                                        NewCold Unveils Cutting-Edge Automated Cold Storage Facility in Nowy Modlin, Poland
Global food logistics leader NewCold has officially opened one of the world’s most advanced automated cold storage facilities in Nowy Modlin, marking a significant step in the company’s strategic expansion across Central and Eastern Europe.
The state-of-the-art warehouse offers more than 95,000 pallet positions and is equipped with NewCold’s proprietary automation and software systems. With this launch, NewCold’s total storage capacity in Poland now exceeds 207,000 pallet positions, reinforcing the country’s growing importance as a key logistics hub in the European food supply chain.
Constructed in partnership with Atlas Ward Polska and global design and engineering firm Arcadis, the €112 million facility spans 27,000 square meters and is designed with both efficiency and sustainability in mind. The site features seamless integration with clients’ ERP systems, providing full transparency, traceability, and scalability of logistics operations.

The new operation is expected to create up to 140 new jobs, delivering a boost to the local economy while meeting growing demand from food manufacturers and retailers for temperature-controlled logistics.
