Rohlig SUUS Logistics Expands Warehousing Services in Romania

Rohlig SUUS Logistics, a key logistics provider in Central and Eastern Europe, has expanded its operations in Romania by introducing comprehensive warehousing services to meet rising customer demand and support the country’s rapidly growing logistics market.

The new offering includes storage, order picking, co-packing, product set creation, promotional stand assembly, and terminal handling—delivered in cooperation with trusted local partners. This move significantly enhances SUUS’s Romanian portfolio, which already spans road, rail, air, and sea freight, intermodal transport, customs clearance, and project cargo handling.

SUUS has operated in Romania for five years through its Bucharest subsidiary. The addition of warehousing services reflects the company’s commitment to deepening its regional presence and providing end-to-end logistics solutions tailored to the evolving needs of its customers.

” Warehousing solutions are a key pillar of efficient and resilient supply chains. They allow companies to maintain inventory closer to markets and ensure continuity of production and distribution, while value-added services such as co-packing and labeling are essential for successfully bringing products to market. We are seeing strong demand for these types of solutions across the CEE region, fueled by the global trend of relocating production and logistics centers closer to target markets. Romania is one of the most attractive locations for such relocations, ” says Paweł Michalak, Contract Logistics CEE Director at Rohlig SUUS Logistics.

”   Romania has been one of the leaders in economic growth in Europe over the past thirty years, with sectors such as the automotive, steel, and chemical industries being the pillars of its economy. The country’s investment attractiveness is further enhanced by its geographical location and dynamically developing transport infrastructure, including the Port of Constanța, making it a natural logistics hub for the region, particularly the Balkans and Central and Southern Europe. Romania’s accession to the Schengen Area has further simplified cross-border operations. As a result, the demand for comprehensive logistics support, including warehousing, is growing. At SUUS, we are seizing this opportunity, ” emphasizes Dragoș Boranda, Managing Director, Rohlig SUUS Logistics in Romania.

The Romanian expansion forms part of SUUS’s broader growth strategy across the Central and Eastern Europe & Central Asia (CEECA) region. Alongside its home base in Poland, the company operates in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, and, most recently, Ukraine.
