CEVA Logistics has announced the phased rollout of Manhattan Associates’ cloud-native Warehouse Management (WMS) and Order Management Systems (OMS) as part of its global innovation strategy aimed at accelerating AI, automation, and operational efficiency in contract logistics.
The integration of Manhattan Active® solutions into CEVA’s operations marks a key step in modernizing its tech stack and expanding digital capabilities across its more than 800 contract logistics sites worldwide. CEVA currently manages over 11 million square meters of warehouse space globally.
Manhattan’s scalable, SaaS-based platforms will complement CEVA’s proprietary Matrix® WMS, enabling greater flexibility to align with varying customer needs. The new systems promise seamless onboarding of new customers and sites, zero downtime, and enhanced visibility through CEVA’s MyCEVA portal, offering self-service dashboards and real-time insights.
Chris Walton, SVP of global contract logistics, CEVA Logistics, said: “CEVA’s commitment to our customers requires agility to respond to needs, to continuously innovate and to grow alongside them. The ability to add new technologies plays a major role in how we do this and, at the same time, how we drive our business forward. So, this latest deliverable on our longer-term strategy ensures we are perfectly placed to accelerate the deployment of the latest advances in data, AI, wearables, cobots and other solutions for the maximum benefit to our customer, while also driving maximum efficiency into all aspects of our global operations.”
Eric Clark, CEO, Manhattan Associates, added: “Manhattan and CEVA place innovation and customers at the core of everything we do, so the business philosophy and synergy between both our companies was clear from the start. We look forward to providing CEVA with the technology innovation needed to stay ahead of competitors, react to global events and turn challenges into opportunities in the fast-moving world of third-party logistics and supply chain.”
Initial deployments will begin across selected sites in North America and Europe, with global expansion to follow. Once fully rolled out, Manhattan’s solutions will be in use at over half of CEVA’s contract logistics locations, while Matrix® will continue to support the remainder.
This move reinforces CEVA’s commitment to building a resilient, agile, and customer-centric logistics network for the future.
