Dior Enhances Warehouse Operations with Scandit and Hardis WMS
Dior has partnered with Scandit, a leader in smart data capture, and Hardis Supply Chain, provider of Hardis WMS, to optimize its warehouse operations and gain real-time workflow insights. The integration of Scandit’s MatrixScan Count into Hardis WMS has reduced shipping control time by 85%, allowing warehouse teams to capture multiple barcodes simultaneously and verify data instantly via augmented reality (AR).
MatrixScan Find is also deployed to simplify order preparation and in-store price updates, enhancing speed and accuracy by enabling staff to locate items quickly through an AR overlay. Scandit’s AI-powered scanning on handheld devices can read damaged, poorly printed, or partially visible barcodes, streamlining daily workflows including receiving and inventory management.
“Dior’s vision demonstrates how smart data capture can revolutionize logistics,” commented Samuel Mueller, CEO & Co‑founder, Scandit. “Our partnership with Dior and Hardis Supply Chain is an example of how artificial intelligence and augmented reality can be combined to give frontline workers real-time insights, enhance legacy operational processes and create true supply chain innovation — all without the need for additional hardware infrastructure.”
“At Hardis, we integrate innovative technologies like Scandit’s to enhance both performance and user experience. The project with Dior is a perfect example of this approach: a technology partnership serving the operational excellence of a prestigious client,” said Florent Boizard, General Manager of Hardis Supply Chain.
Future plans include expanding MatrixScan Count for inventory counting and rolling out the solution across all Dior distribution centers using Hardis WMS. The system also aims to accelerate onboarding for new or temporary staff, ensuring a seamless experience during peak periods and maintaining Dior’s high standards of fulfillment and client service.
