Logicor celebrates the development of an iconic logistics HUB at Quinta do Barrão, Montijo

Logicor, a leading owner, manager and developer of logistics assets in Europe, took an important step in the development of its latest 37,000 m2 logistics real estate project in the Montijo region by hosting the ‘First Pillar” ceremony at Quinta do Barrão Montijo.

The event, organized by Logicor at the construction site, commenced with a project introduction and a brief speech by the mayor, Maria Clara Silva, in the presence of  partners like Garcia Garcia (GC) and JLL, the exclusive real estate broker commercializing the logistics park.

This Hub is made of two buildings, designed to high-quality and sustainability standards The first 4,325 m2 building, will host Nacex, leading company in the Express Courier sector, and will be completed in February 2026.

The second 32.150 m2 building, instead., is available for lease and will be completed in May 2026. Both warehouses will be certified BREEAM Excellent, featuring a clear height of  11.4 m, and being equipped with sprinkler systems, LED lighting and a PV plant.

The project, developed on a total area covering 80,457 m², includes also new walking areas, parking, new pavements, communal facilities and the landscaping of green spaces (51,054.42 m²) with cork oak trees donated to the City Council.

The ceremony was marked by symbolic moments, with the burial of a time capsule containing various objects and the unveiling of a commemorative plaque, celebrating the start of another flagship Logicor project in the region.
