Haulotte, a global leader in people and material lifting equipment, has expanded its PULSEO range with the launch of two new 100% electric rough terrain scissor lifts – the HS21 E and HS21 E PRO. These next-generation machines are designed to meet the demands of eco-conscious construction while offering powerful performance and cutting-edge features.

As the industry pushes for greener alternatives, Haulotte’s new scissor lifts deliver zero-emission operation without compromising on capability. Designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, the HS21 E and HS21 E PRO offer a working height of up to 21 meters – roughly six stories – and a robust load capacity of 750 kg, enough for four workers. Operators can drive the machine at full height without load restrictions, making it ideal for high-rise, high-demand worksites.

One of the standout features is the extra-wide platform, extendable to 7.5 meters, providing generous workspace for handling large materials or multiple operators simultaneously. Powered by a fully electric motor and maintenance-free lithium-ion batteries, the lifts promise fast charging, silent operation, and a battery lifespan of up to 10 years. For worksites without access to a power supply, Haulotte offers a removable Range Extender generator compatible across all PULSEO machines.

Thanks to its four-wheel drive and axle-based transmission, the HS21 E confidently tackles tough terrain with slope-climbing capabilities up to 38%. A built-in differential lock system ensures consistent traction even in the harshest conditions.

The HS21 E also introduces a newly designed upper control box with an intuitive screen interface. Operators benefit from real-time data, proportional controls, and ergonomic navigation, improving both safety and ease of use.

Haulotte has integrated several digital tools to support operators and fleet managers. The built-in Haulotte Activ’Screen offers instant access to diagnostics, alerts, and maintenance history, reducing downtime and simplifying repairs. The company’s telematics platform, SHERPAL, enables real-time remote monitoring of machine status, usage, and maintenance needs – helping optimize fleet performance and availability.

Safety and precision are also top priorities. The automatic rear wheel alignment system and four-wheel steering enhance maneuverability on wide platforms and tight jobsite spaces. The foldable guardrails – collapsible in just two minutes – streamline transport preparation, while the specially designed lighting system ensures safe loading and unloading without dazzling the operator.

Built with reliability in mind, the HS21 E features durable, low-maintenance asynchronous motors, easy component access, and components tested for extreme conditions. This results in a longer service life and a lower total cost of ownership (TCO).

For jobs requiring heavy material handling, Haulotte also offers an optional Material Handling Rack. Capable of carrying 400 kg with three operators onboard, it enhances safety and productivity – especially for tasks like pipe or panel installation.
