Mileway Expands Lease with Schöning Spedition at Steinriedendamm Business Park, Braunschweig

Mileway, Europe’s leading last-mile logistics real estate company, has signed a lease expansion with Schöning Spedition, increasing the company’s occupancy to approximately 11,000 m² at Steinriedendamm Business Park in Braunschweig. The multi-tenant warehouse totals around 20,000 m².

Schöning Spedition initially leased roughly 6,000 m² in 2025 and will now add an additional 5,000 m². The logistics provider offers transport, warehousing, and third-party logistics (3PL) services, while its parent company, Mühle Rüningen GmbH, uses part of the space for storing grain and flour products. Schöning Spedition also supports various industries, including the storage and distribution of machine parts.

The business park provides direct access to the A391, with connections to the A2 and A39, offering fast access to regional and national transport corridors. Located within the Braunschweig/Wolfsburg economic cluster, the site is close to major industrial hubs, the Mittelland Canal, and a skilled labor pool.

The facility has been upgraded to support efficient heavy goods vehicle (HGV) operations, with optimized loading infrastructure for quick turnaround times. Mileway recently completed a comprehensive refurbishment, including energy-efficient LED lighting, roof and façade upgrades, floor repairs, and structural improvements, ensuring modern and efficient operations.
