Mileway Secures Lease Expansion with Global Technology and Defence Group in Stockholm
Mileway, Europe’s leading last-mile logistics real estate company, has signed a long-term lease renewal and expansion with a global technology, defence, and engineering group at Märsta 15:7, just north of Stockholm. The agreement extends the company’s existing 12,000 sqm lease by approximately 3,600 sqm, bringing the total leased area to 15,600 sqm. The site, owned by opportunistic funds managed by Blackstone, features modern warehouse, production, and office facilities.
The new extension offers a 10-metre clear ceiling height, floor loading capacity of 5 tonnes per square metre, and three ground-level loading gates, enhancing operational flexibility and logistics efficiency. Sustainability features include district heating, energy-efficient office air conditioning, LED lighting throughout, and a PV-ready roof, with the tenant planning a 499 kWp photovoltaic installation to further reduce environmental impact.
Strategically located in Märsta, the asset provides excellent connectivity to the E4 motorway and Stockholm Arlanda Airport, supporting fast access to Stockholm, Uppsala, and the wider national transport network. The site is well positioned for logistics, last-mile distribution, and businesses serving the greater Stockholm market.
