Panattoni Completes Automotive Electronics Facility for Compal in Poland

Panattoni has completed a cutting-edge build-to-own manufacturing facility for Taiwanese electronics leader Compal in Czeladź, southern Poland. The 7,650 sqm plant, Compal’s first automotive electronics site in Europe, is set to begin trial production by the end of 2025.

This investment highlights Taiwan’s growing role in the global electronics supply chain, with Compal’s presence in Poland strengthening the country’s position as a hub for high-tech manufacturing. The facility will produce electronic control units (ECUs) for the automotive sector, with plans to expand into advanced driver-assistance and autonomous driving systems.

Located in the Silesian Voivodeship, Poland’s industrial heartland, the factory is designed with energy-efficient systems, cleanroom standards, and automated production lines. It will also seek BREEAM certification at the Excellent level. The site, which spans 5 hectares, is primed for future growth to support Compal’s expansion across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

“We are proud to support Compal in establishing its first automotive electronics facility in Europe. This project reinforces Silesia as a top destination for high-tech investment and demonstrates Panattoni’s capability to deliver tailored infrastructure that supports global manufacturers in localizing production and strengthening supply chain resilience,” said Marek Dobrzycki, Partner at Panattoni.

This facility marks a key step in Compal’s strategy to localize production in Europe, enabling faster and more flexible delivery of advanced automotive solutions to European customers.
