Finnish vehicle component manufacturer and distributor TMT. Malinen Oy has partnered with Konecranes to implement its advanced Agilon warehouse automation system at the company’s Lahti facility. The move is part of TMT. Malinen’s broader strategy to streamline operations, improve space efficiency, and support future business growth.

The agreement was signed in June 2025, with installation of the Agilon system beginning in September and operations going live on October 1, 2025.

The Agilon solution will centralize high-volume warehouse functions while enhancing scalability, floor space utilization, and process control. Fully integrated with the company’s Monitor ERP system, the automation system ensures real-time visibility into material flows, from goods receipt to dispatch.

TMT. Malinen serves a wide customer base, including OEMs, commercial vehicle builders, and defense sector clients. Its expanding product lineup—featuring chassis protectors, aluminum structures, and toolboxes—necessitated a flexible, high-efficiency solution. The Agilon system, with its modular and scalable design, was selected to meet these demands.

The installation features a double-row Agilon unit measuring 4.6 meters in height and 2 × 12 meters in length, equipped with two access points and two robotic units. The system allows fast and accurate picking, continuous inventory tracking, and full operational transparency—positioning TMT. Malinen for streamlined growth in an increasingly demanding market.
