Yale Introduces Standard Telemetry Across Key Warehouse Lift Truck Models

Yale Lift Truck Technologies is now including wireless telemetry as a standard feature on several of its key warehouse models, including order pickers, reach trucks, and very narrow aisle (VNA) trucks.

The integrated Yale Vision™ system tracks utilization, impacts, location, and diagnostics, helping improve productivity, safety, and maintenance planning. Users receive two years of wireless communication at no extra cost.

“Yale Vison allows warehouses to put a critical eye to lift truck fleets, helping them better understand ongoing costs and operational performance,” says Robert O’Donoghue – VP, Marketing, EMEA, Yale Lift Truck Technologies. “By including wireless monitoring as a standard feature, we’re giving fast-paced warehouses the visibility they need to help reinforce proper operator behaviour, help reduce avoidable damage and downtime, and maximise the lifetime value of their equipment.”

Managers can access real-time data and alerts via online dashboards, enabling faster responses to impacts and better operator accountability. The system also supports features like key card access, automatic shutdowns, and mandatory digital safety checklists for compliance.

Telemetry will now also come standard on electric and internal combustion (ICE) counterbalanced lift trucks, marking a major step toward smarter, more connected warehouse operations.
