Sonepar Polska has renewed its lease for more than 13,000 m² of warehouse space at Prologis Park Chorzów. The facility plays a key role in the company’s operations, serving as a distribution centre for electrical products and solutions supplied to business customers. Signed under the Clear Lease® model, the new agreement extends an eight-year partnership with Prologis, the global leader in logistics real estate.

Sonepar Group was founded in France in 1969. The Polish business traces its roots to 1989, when Alfa, later known as Alfa Elektro, was established. Sonepar Group became a shareholder in 1996, and the company adopted the name Sonepar Polska in 2024.

Sonepar Polska operates a nationwide electrical wholesale network comprising 55 sales outlets and a central warehouse, complemented by an e-commerce channel. Alongside distribution, the company provides technical advice, energy audits, lighting design, industrial solutions and training. Its product portfolio includes lighting, automation, cables and wires, electrical installation accessories, enclosures and switchboards, as well as specialist solutions tailored to individual projects.

The warehouse at Prologis Park Chorzów is an important part of Sonepar Polska’s national distribution network. The renewal ensures continuity at an established location and supports the company’s continued growth.

The new Clear Lease® agreement provides a fixed service charge throughout the lease term. This clearly defined charge covers standard operating costs, maintenance and administration fees, reducing the risk of unexpected expenses and simplifying long-term cost planning.

Prologis Park Chorzów is located on the western outskirts of Katowice, directly beside the A4 motorway, one of the main transport corridors linking Western and Eastern Europe. The Gliwice–Sośnica interchange, where the A4 meets the A1 motorway, is approximately 15 kilometres away. Access to both motorways facilitates distribution across Poland and to the Czech Republic, Slovakia and other Central European markets.

Prologis Park Chorzów comprises five buildings totalling more than 251,000 m². The warehouses offer storage heights of up to 10 metres, approximately 360 loading docks and cross-docking capabilities. The park also provides flexible warehouse units, spacious manoeuvring yards, car and truck parking, and three separate entrance gates. Round-the-clock security supports daily operations, while public transport stops within the park make commuting easier for employees.
