CEVA Logistics has extended its long-term partnership with global biopharmaceutical company GSK, continuing its management of the company’s key pharmaceutical distribution center in Robakowo, near Poznań, Poland.

The renewed five-year agreement strengthens CEVA’s position as a strategic logistics partner supporting GSK’s healthcare supply chain across Northern and Central Europe. Since taking over operations at the Robakowo facility in 2012, CEVA has delivered specialized logistics solutions designed to meet the strict requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.

Over more than a decade of collaboration, CEVA has enhanced the facility’s efficiency through continuous improvements, investment, and compliance-focused operations. The site maintains high industry standards, including ISO 9001:2015 certification, and plays a critical role in ensuring the reliable distribution of medicines and vaccines across European markets.

The Robakowo distribution center is one of four GSK facilities managed by CEVA in Europe, alongside locations in France, Italy, and Spain. Together, these sites support the distribution of approximately 32 million pharmaceutical products, over-the-counter medicines, and vaccines each month, including urgent shipments for patients and healthcare providers across 39 European countries.

Serving 13 markets across Northern and Central Europe, the Robakowo facility manages thousands of inbound and outbound shipments monthly. The specialized healthcare warehouse spans more than 9,830 square meters and includes temperature-controlled storage areas, cold chain capabilities, GMP-compliant zones, and repackaging operations.

CEVA oversees a wide range of activities at the site, including warehouse management, order fulfillment, quality control, returns handling, and distribution processes. All operations are conducted in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards, supported by dedicated quality and regulatory teams.

The facility also incorporates advanced technology and automation to improve efficiency and maintain compliance. CEVA’s healthcare-focused Warehouse Management System, automated packaging and coding solutions, and collaborative robotics help optimize operations while ensuring product safety.

Supporting sustainability goals, the Robakowo site has introduced energy-efficient technologies, digitalized processes to reduce paper usage, and intelligent lighting systems to lower environmental impact.

The extended agreement highlights the continued collaboration between CEVA Logistics and GSK in delivering reliable, compliant, and innovative logistics solutions for the global healthcare sector.
