GEODIS has strengthened its pharmaceutical logistics operations in Poland after renewing its IATA CEIV Pharma certification for air freight activities in Warsaw and securing Good Distribution Practice (GDP) certification for its contract logistics facility in Stryków Dobra.

The renewed IATA CEIV Pharma certification confirms that the company’s air freight operations continue to meet internationally recognised standards for the handling and transportation of pharmaceutical products. Developed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the certification validates compliance with global regulations, including European Union GDP guidelines, and recognises robust quality management systems, validated handling processes and temperature-controlled logistics.

The renewal further expands GEODIS’ certified healthcare logistics network across Europe, where the company now operates IATA CEIV Pharma-certified facilities in 13 countries. These include key logistics hubs in Amsterdam, Brussels, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dublin, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Manchester, Milan, Stockholm, Warsaw and Zurich.

GEODIS has also achieved GDP certification for its Stryków Dobra contract logistics site, demonstrating compliance with European and national standards governing the storage, transport and distribution of pharmaceutical products. The certification recognises the site’s capability to handle healthcare products under strict quality and regulatory requirements.

Together, the certifications strengthen GEODIS’ integrated pharmaceutical logistics offering in Poland by combining certified air freight services with GDP-compliant warehousing and contract logistics operations.

GEODIS currently operates 15 logistics warehouses across Poland, providing approximately 195,000 sq m of storage space, including a dedicated pharmaceutical facility in Pruszków. Its Polish freight forwarding network also manages more than 2,400 tonnes of air freight annually through four operational locations.
