Quadient and Morrisons Expand Partnership to Bring Parcel Lockers to More UK Supermarkets

Quadient (Euronext Paris: QDT) has expanded its partnership with Morrisons to extend its Parcel Pending by Quadient locker network across the supermarket’s UK estate, providing customers with convenient, secure options for collecting and returning parcels.

Following the successful introduction of lockers at Morrisons Daily stores, the next phase of the partnership will see installations begin across Morrisons supermarkets nationwide. The rollout started in June 2026, with an initial deployment at 125 locations before expanding to approximately 500 stores across the UK.

The Parcel Pending by Quadient lockers act as convenient local hubs, enabling customers to collect and return parcels from multiple carriers through a single, secure self-service network. The lockers also support additional services, including prescription collection, retail click-and-collect, key exchanges, and spare parts retrieval.

The expansion responds to growing consumer demand for more flexible delivery solutions. Quadient research shows that many consumers want a single location to manage parcels from multiple carriers, while supermarkets remain a preferred location for parcel locker access.

“The expansion of our partnership with Morrisons, one of the UK’s largest and trusted supermarket brands, reflects a shared vision of making everyday services more accessible for consumers,” said Katia Bourgeais-Crémel, EVP Parcel Locker Solutions Europe at Quadient. “By extending our open locker network across Morrisons supermarkets, we are helping consumers collect and return parcels as part of their normal routines, while providing retailers and carriers with a scale efficient delivery infrastructure. Together, we’re making out-of-home delivery more convenient and accessible across communities.”

“At Morrisons, we are committed to providing services that make life easier for our customers and strengthen the role our stores play within local communities,” John Parry, Head of Popular & Useful Services at Morrisons. “Following the success of our Morrisons Daily partnership, expanding Quadient lockers into our supermarket estate is a natural next step. This partnership enables us to offer customers greater flexibility and convenience while enhancing the range of useful services available through our stores.”

By integrating parcel services into supermarket visits, the partnership aims to improve customer convenience, reduce missed deliveries, and support more efficient last-mile operations for carriers and retailers.

The collaboration further strengthens Quadient’s growing UK open locker network, helping expand access to sustainable out-of-home delivery solutions. With more than 27,000 locker units installed globally, Quadient continues its drive toward deploying 40,000 lockers worldwide by 2030.
