Quadient’s UK Parcel Locker Network Expands Beyond 3,000 Locations
Growth strengthens one of the UK’s largest open locker networks, offering consumers and businesses greater flexibility in parcel delivery and returns
Quadient (Euronext Paris: QDT) has announced that its Parcel Pending by Quadient network has surpassed 3,000 locations across the UK, marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion of convenient, out-of-home parcel services.
The carrier-agnostic locker network provides consumers, retailers, carriers, and service providers with secure, 24/7 access to parcel collection, delivery, and returns. Supporting major logistics providers including Royal Mail, Evri, DPD, and UPS, the network enables customers to manage parcels from multiple carriers through a single, convenient location.
Beyond parcel services, Quadient lockers support a range of additional uses, including prescription collections, retail click-and-collect, key exchanges, spare parts collection, and temporary luggage storage through partnerships with businesses such as KeyNest, Stasher, Qeepl, and Radical.
The network expansion reflects growing demand for flexible delivery solutions, with consumers increasingly seeking simpler ways to manage deliveries and returns. Quadient research highlights the need for accessible, multi-carrier infrastructure, with many customers looking for a single location to handle parcels from different providers.
“Surpassing 3,000 locations is more than a network milestone; it marks a fundamental shift in how people manage deliveries, returns, and everyday services. Consumers increasingly seek a single, convenient location to access multiple carriers and services. Carriers and retailers require dense and scalable infrastructure that improves efficiency and reduces costs and environmental impact,” said Geoffrey Godet, Quadient CEO. “Our open locker network addresses these needs, creating shared infrastructure that benefits consumers, businesses, logistics providers, and host partners. As we continue to expand at a rapid pace across the UK, we are further building the foundation for the future of out-of-home delivery and local community services.”
For carriers and service providers, Quadient’s locker network offers an efficient alternative to traditional home delivery by reducing failed delivery attempts, improving operational performance, and supporting more sustainable last-mile operations through consolidated deliveries.
Located across retail destinations, transport hubs, petrol forecourts, leisure venues, and community spaces, Parcel Pending by Quadient lockers also provide benefits for host locations by increasing customer visits and engagement. The network is supported by partnerships with organisations including Shell Service Stations, Morrisons, Northern Rail, Buzz Bingo, Everyone Active, The Range, and Stonegate Group pubs.
With more than 28,200 locker units installed globally, Quadient continues to invest in expanding its out-of-home delivery infrastructure and remains focused on reaching its target of 40,000 lockers worldwide by 2030.
