Swisslog has introduced FastMove, a new identity for its proven electrified monorail system, designed to provide high-performance, scalable pallet transport solutions for complex warehouse environments.

Building on more than 40 years of Swisslog expertise in automated material handling, FastMove enables companies to optimize long-distance pallet movement while supporting high throughput, efficient space utilization, and gentle product handling.

The next-generation system delivers transport speeds of up to 2 metres per second and capacities exceeding 600 pallets per hour, helping businesses manage increasing volumes and improve operational efficiency. Compared with traditional conveyor-based solutions, FastMove offers advantages for long-distance transport applications through reduced system complexity, lower installation costs, and improved warehouse space utilization.

Designed with flexibility and scalability in mind, FastMove features a modular track system that can adapt to changing operational requirements. Additional vehicles can be integrated to increase capacity, allowing businesses to expand their automation infrastructure in line with growth and demand.

The solution also supports modernization projects, enabling existing installations to be upgraded through software, controls, and selected hardware enhancements rather than requiring complete replacement. This approach helps customers extend equipment lifespan while maintaining efficient and compliant operations.

Engineered for demanding industrial environments, FastMove can operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 50°C and handle loads of up to 1,500 kg, or up to 3,000 kg using twin-load configurations. The technology is suited for industries including food and beverage, retail, and consumer goods, where reliability and performance are critical.

Integrated with Swisslog’s SynQ software platform, FastMove provides intelligent control of warehouse material flows, connecting automated and manual processes to support data-driven and connected intralogistics operations.
